Detailing estimates and invoices
Detailing estimates from your own service list, with invoicing only when you choose it
The fastest way to lose margin in detailing is quoting from memory. The same package ends up priced three ways across three weeks, and nobody can say which number was promised. WeavrCRM keeps quotes built from your service list and attached to the vehicle, then leaves billing as an explicit choice for each job.
Quotes built from your services
Define your services once: exterior wash, interior detail, decontamination, one-step polish, coating packages, add-ons like pet hair or headlight restoration. When you quote, you assemble those services for a specific vehicle.
Because the quote stays linked to the customer and the appointment, the tech on site sees what was sold, and you can compare what you quoted against what the job actually needed.
Quote for: 2022 Honda Odyssey, interior Interior deep clean ............ your price Pet hair removal add-on ......... your price Seat extraction, 2nd row ........ your price Notes: Juice stains on 3rd row, customer aware results vary
Opt-in invoices and deposits
Invoicing is off unless you turn it on for an appointment or a recurring series. When enabled, payments run through a Stripe account your business sets up and owns. WeavrCRM does not hold your money.
A payment link can be copied and texted to the customer manually from your phone. It is not sent automatically, so you choose the right moment, such as after the walk-around.
When to use a deposit
These are patterns, not rules. Set deposits to fit your market and cancellation history.
| Job type | Common approach |
|---|---|
| Maintenance wash | Often no deposit; pay on completion |
| Full detail, new customer | Some owners take a small deposit |
| Paint correction or coating | Deposit commonly used to hold multi-hour slots |
Questions detailers ask
Do I have to use Stripe?
Only if you opt in to invoices or deposits. Otherwise collect payment however you already do.
Are payment links emailed automatically?
No. Links can be copied and texted manually; nothing is sent on your behalf.
Can I see unpaid invoices?
Owners can review billing in role-restricted reports.
